New Mei Tai!
Ok, so this is NOT made by me and the photo’s aren’t taken by me either. Both were done by Katt from Katara. I love this carrier so much. Roland is huge and I wasn’t really wearing him much anymore because of how uncomfortable it was for me (the wrap was comfy, but he’s at an up-down-up-down stage), but this supports him! No pain for me, and he’s actually fallen asleep in it (the only carrier he’s been willing to stay in long enough to do that for since babyhood). So yay! This was an amazing trade for me.

hmm, I may have to make a MeiTai now. I have a very active not-sleeping boy too, and I’d like him to feel comfortable enough to sleep sometime. Thanks for the inspiration!

Yes! Make one! I’ve made several, but this one I got through a trade (I knitted longies for her 3 yr old). I would recommend straps on the wider side and good padding. This MT is heavily lined and I think that also helps with the support. My previous MT was fantastic when R was younger, but the straps aren’t as firmly padded and are a bit narrower and that has made it uncomfortable now that he’s getting so big.
